Veteran Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar‘s comeback to the Indian lineup is not going as expected; in each of the three matches against New Zealand, he has given up over 40 runs while taking just one wicket. Ajinkya Rahane, a former Indian cricket player, cautioned against overanalyzing his performance and said there was no reason to fire him.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s return to the Indian setup is not going as planned
He asked that rather than concentrating too much on Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s performance during the tour, people should be grateful for his return. Although not as successful as anticipated, the right-arm pacer displayed some encouraging signs with a respectable swing and trouble the batters with the new ball.
“I don’t think we should criticize him or obsess over his bowling performance. Being a seasoned player, he would undoubtedly consider his shortcomings and areas for improvement. Ups and downs are a natural part of the game when it comes to his performances.
As a bowler, you might not always be able to find your rhythm, but that doesn’t mean you should discount him. Ajinkya Rahane posted on his YouTube channel, “Bhuvneshwar Kumar would undoubtedly know what he could have done better.”
“The fact that he has returned at this age is, in my opinion, the biggest story. This should teach us that it’s important to never give up when bowling. Things will eventually come together if you continue to do your job. You never know; in the next game, he might take five wickets, and things might drastically change. He continued, “Bhuvneshwar is a bowler who undoubtedly thinks about his game, but he is also confident in his abilities and is an overall confident person.”

Arshdeep Singh, a left-arm pacer, was commended by Rahane for his performance in the series, taking important wickets at key moments.
Regarding Arshdeep, he had a fantastic rhythm and appeared to be in excellent form. In both the third Twenty20 International and the previous game, he took wickets during the powerplay. He is a crucial member of the Indian team. He is getting close to 150 wickets and has participated in more than 100 Twenty20 Internationals, Rahane said.
