Batting first, India set a formidable target of 250 runs for the Caribbean team. In response, driven by a brilliant innings from captain Shai Hope, the West Indies achieved the target in 18.3 overs, losing four wickets in the process.
The Caribbean captain played a match-winning, unbeaten knock of 102* off 45 balls. This marked the fastest T20I century by a West Indies captain against Ind. With this victory, the West Indies leveled the five-match T20 series at 1-1.

For Team India, Sanju Samson scored 82, Ishan Kishan made 43, and captain Shreyas Iyer contributed 40 runs. Towards the end, Tilak Varma remained unbeaten on 44* off 18 balls. On the bowling front for the West Indies, Roston Chase claimed 3 wickets, while Shamar Springer took 2.

Subsequently, the West Indies displayed exceptional batting to easily chase down the target of 250 runs in 18.3 overs, losing four wickets.
